Understanding Your ChargeFun Card

The Cards section allows you to manage your ChargeFun virtual credit card, which lets you spend your crypto in the real world.

Accessing Your Card

  1. Log in to your ChargeFun account

  2. Tap the Card icon in the bottom navigation bar

  3. You'll be taken to the Card management page

Applying for a Card

If you don't have a card yet:

  1. On the Card page, tap Apply for Card

  2. Complete the application form with your:

    • Full legal name

    • Date of birth

    • Address information

    • Social security number (for US residents)

  3. Review and accept the terms and conditions

  4. Submit your application

  5. You'll receive a decision typically within minutes

Viewing Card Details

Once your card is approved:

  1. Your virtual card will appear on the Card page

  2. To view sensitive card details (card number, expiration date, CVV):

    • Tap the Eye icon to reveal the details

    • These details will be hidden again automatically for security

    • You can add these card details onto your phone's wallet (Apple/Android Wallet) and/or use it as a method of payment online (VISA).

Card Features

Card Balance and Limits

The Card page displays:

  • Current available balance

  • Credit limit

  • Pending charges

  • Posted charges

Transaction History

Below your card, you'll see:

  • Recent transactions made with your card

  • Details including merchant name, amount, and date

Freezing Your Card

If you suspect unauthorized use or lose your card information:

  1. On the Card page, tap the Freeze Card button

  2. Confirm that you want to freeze the card

  3. Your card will be immediately frozen, preventing any new transactions

  4. To unfreeze, contact [email protected] for a prompt reactivation by our services

Topping Up Your Card

To add funds to your card:

  1. On the Card page, tap Top Up

  2. Select the funding source:

    • From your crypto wallet (select which token to use)

  3. Enter the amount you wish to add

  4. Confirm the transaction

  5. Funds will be available on your card once the transaction is processed

Troubleshooting Card Issues

Common Issues:

  1. Declined transaction: Check your available balance and ensure the merchant accepts your card type

  2. Card frozen: Your card may be frozen due to suspicious activity; unfreeze it or contact support

  3. Top-up not appearing: Crypto-to-card transfers may take a few minutes to process

  4. Application pending: Some applications require additional verification; check your email for requests
